Denise Drysdale

began her showbiz career as a three year old dancing in pantomimes, and started on television when she was 10 years old. At 14, Denise joined the GTV9 Ballet on In Melbourne Tonight with Graham Kennedy. As well as joining The Ernie Sigley Show, Denise also appeared on The Norman Gunston Show, Celebrity Squares, Young Talent Time, Countdown, Division Four, Homicide and Bellbird.

Denise and Ernie also recorded ‘Hey Paula’ which went Gold, selling more than 100,000 copies. Her regular TV exposure thrust her into the limelight and Denise won the TV Week Gold Logie for the most popular Female Personality not once, but twice.

Denise spent two years in Sydney doing Weekend Magazine and later Beauty & the Beast, before teaming up once again with long time friend Ernie Sigley to host In Melbourne Today, and later, Sydney Today.

Throughout her impressive 50 year career she has worked all over Australia in radio, commercials, musical theatre and television, including hosting her own show simply called Denise, and most recently you will see Denise as a regular on Channel Ten’s The Circle.
